6 month appointment

So, it is Official I'm HUGE!!!

I weigh 20 pounds 9 ounces now which is the 89%
I am 27 1/2 inches long which is the 77%
and my head is 46 cm. round which is the 95%

Doc, said I look good and he is happy with my development. I am going to start drinking some water and juices and eating more baby foods. I had turkey and turkey gravy tonight (NASTY) Daddy tried it too and he agreed it was not good, he thought it tasted like tuna.

Mom and dad are very excited doc told them they don't need to boil my water for my bottles any more. They can just use the tap water.

Here is the bad news. I had to get 6 shots today. :( The regular 6 month shots and then the seasonal flu shot and the H1N1 shot. Then I have to go back in 4 weeks for the second round of the flu shots.

It was ok though mom gave me a little snack after the shots and I forgot it had even happened.

I go back in May for my 10 month appointment.

Mom and dad only have a pound plus a little till they have to buy me a new car seat. I'm so excited a new ride!

Oh, and if you have requested to see the six month pictures, they are coming I promise, we are just waiting for the finishing touches to be added to them and then they will show up on here. Mom is so excited about the one with the __________ she can't stop talking about it. I bet you want to know what _________ is don't you??? Mom says I can't tell. ;)

FYI's

1) I have my six month appointment tomorrow. We will find out how HUGE I am and how soon mom and dad have to buy me a new car seat. I can only ride in my current one until I'm 22 pounds. Mom and dad are guessing I'll weigh in at 21 pounds tomorrow.

2) Mom had to start her master's classes again tonight. :( She didn't come home very happy. She said she is going to be locked in her office A LOT. She has two REALLY time consuming and hard classes this semester, but is trying to stay positive, because this time next year she will have graduated with her masters degree in functional special education. One more class after this semester. (I told mom if she wants to cry about it she should call my godfather Mike, he completely understands.)

3) I keep telling mom she has to post the Peek-a-Boo pictures so everyone can see how cute I am and then she can post the pictures showing me sitting, etc... but she says she has to wait a little bit longer so she doesn't spoil you all with all these wonderful pictures of her.

This is pretty old too. This was right when Jaren was starting to talk more and he just wouldn't do it with the camera on so I had to sneak up on him, notice how he says nothing once he sees me.

New post again

Ok so I posted another post. (If you check other blogs using your dashboard you will see my new post - if you don't than please continue to read) However as this is my first time to create so many at one time and then post them slowly I was unaware that when I posted it later it would appear in date order of when it was created not posted so if you want to see the new pictures you have to scroll down a bit to see the post labeled Just because.

VEGAS!!!

We left on the 27th with 11 others from Mark's family members to celbrate his baby sisters 21st birthday. You will not see a picture of all of us together as sadely someone (differant people) was sick the entire trip. (Thankfully none of us) We still managed to have a great time though.

Jaren slept the entire first flight. He was asleep before we got on the plane and woke up as we were getting off. The flight home he was awake as we borded the plane but was asleep before we took off and didn't wake up until we were off the plane. He is such a WONDERFUL baby and was FANTASTIC the entire trip!!! He did learn to do something new while we were on the trip. Jaren had never blown an outfit out until we were in Vegas. He did it 3x's. Good thing I'm an over packer and he had plenty of clothes.

Christmas

Thanks for the comments it let me know you had seen the haircut post and I am so excited. I would only have 5 left and ready to post except tonight for the first time Jaren GOT peek-a-boo and we caught his joy and laughter on camera. It is ready to post so keep commenting to so I know you all are ready to see more of our McFadden family fun!!!

WHAT A GREAT CHRISTMAS!!! Being able to celebrate this holiday as a family was more rewarding than words can say. Mark and I cherished each and every family moment. WE LOVED getting up early (9:45) to open Santa gifts with Jaren :) We got a new camera as a family which is evident by the plethora of pictures taken. Only a fraction of the ones taken made it into the slide show.

Here is the slide show of all our Christmas parties. It was easier to combine them all than to try and separate them. We are sad to say that we did miss one due to the Vegas trip. We were not able to make it to the Masterson Christmas this year :(
