9 Months

I can't believe Ryland will be 10 months old this week so I thought I better get his 9 month info up here before he is TWO because that feels like it is going to be tomorrow.

Ryland is such a DELIGHT - he is always happy (baring poop in his pants and being thirsty)
He is on the go now which is so much fun and so tiring at the same time.  He loves to be by his brother and sister and will follow them around all day long. He likes to be entertained.  He still smiles all the time and looks more and more like my dad everyday.

He is a healthy boy weighing in at 21 pounds 14 ounces (82%)
and is 29 inches long (77%)

I love you little man - watching your personality evolve is AMAZING

Grandkid picture

At Easter this year we actually had ALL the cousins together at the same time.  This had not happened since Carson's baptism (we have added Jaycee, Landrie, Jae, Ames and Ryland since then) so we took a pic.  We were actually only two people short of having our ENTIRE family together which hasn't again happened since Carson' baptism.

It was a great time to get the picture because chances are slimming quickly of getting everyone together at the same time.  Marks sister Beth and her family are in the process of moving to Arizona and his Brother Michael and his wife are moving to Texas.

Can't wait to see the difference between these pictures and the next time we have everyone together.

Mark GRADUATES

After 3 Long - Hard years Mark graduated from Wichita State University in May with his Masters in Business Administration!!!  We are SOOOOO very excited for him to be done and SOOOOO proud of him.

I have to take a min to brag on my husband - he is so sweet.  His graduation day was a chaotic one to say the least at our house.  I started the morning leaving him with the kids early to go to a walk for Angelman's Syndrome with one of my students - then left the walk early to go to a miracle league ball game with one of my former students.  Then I met Mark (with my parents) at a restaurant for him to pass me the kids and him to head to graduation because he had to be there an hour early.  My parents helped me get changed and attempted to feed the kids and headed to graduation.

After the ceremony we met Mark to take some pictures and he asked if I saw the note in the diaper bag.  My heart sank because I thought there was something important about one of the kids and I didn't see it and was worried.  But I could tell by his face I wasn't to be worried.  He wouldn't tell me what the note was so I had to find it.

On Marks very first night of class I wrote Mark a note and hid it in his laptop just letting him know that I was proud of him for starting his masters and that I knew he would be happy he did it when it was all done.  Well.....  Mark kept that note in his backpack for three years and took it with him to class every night - then had it laminated and gave it to me on his graduation.  It was very sweet -          I love this man so much and couldn't be more proud of him!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where's waldo?

YEAH

The kids were so excited to see Mark walking down the hall towards us

DONE!!!

Proud wife

proud parents

HAPPY MARK

While we bleed purple - Mark is now officially a Shocker too.

Both Mark and I have a degree from K-state and a degree from Wichita State we do enjoy the shockers but will ALWAYS be Wildcats!!!

Autism Care Walk 2014

Team Tobelerone walked 31 strong this year for our nephew Toby.  The statistics have changed and our shirts reflected it!!!  Last year and when the walk campaign launched this year it was 1 in 88 children were affected with autism.  After the Campaign launched the statistics were officially changed to one in 68 children are affected with autism.  Not only that 1 in 42 boys are affected with Autism.  CRAZY HUH!!!

The walk location was again changed this year to downtown by the water walk and it was by far the best location we have had.  It was a pretty walk with much visibility to help raise awareness.  There were I believe over 4000 participants in this years walk.

The weather was great and the company even better.

Crazy realization - as I look back at pictures I have been pregnant or pushing a stroller for every care walk we have had.  Sorry  just having a moment since my baby is 9 months old now.  NO I am not pregnant and No I'm not having baby fever just noticing.
