Halloween 2011

On the day before Halloween Jaren, Landrie and all their cousins went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Kamplings then to Great Grandma Ginia's to trick or treat. We had a great time and it was good practice for Jaren.

Landrie with Great Grandma Millie (my dad's mom)

Jaren making sure I know I'm not supposed to tell him it is time to go home.

Grandpa showing Grandma how to open her eyes for a picture (she is notorious for closing her eyes in pictures)

Ok, there is a GREAT story we were done trick or treating and heading home so as we are loading the car Jaren realizes that his bucket of candy is not in his possession so he asks daddy, ever so sweetly, for his bucket please and daddy gives it to him. So on the way home it is dark and I can't see what is happening so I use maks phone and point it to the back of the car and take a picture and when I see it is Jaren so sweetly sucking on a blow pop (I have no idea how he got a blow pop open, but he did) I think oh no, but funny - that is until we get home and mark opens the back door and says OH NO - I didn't even look I just said take a picture.

Jaren had put the blow pop back in the bucket, there was a demolished peanut butter cup, a box of nerds completely soaked through so he could taste the suger - two crunch bars all over his lap and crumbled and the snickers that you can see in his hand. Jaren one point - parenting skills none :)

It only took Jaren not really wanting to go up to two houses before he realized that if he went up to the house he got candy - then the game was on. As soon as he turned around from one door he immediatly said "more nandy" and was off to the next house. SOOOOO cute.

pumpkin patch

A couple weekends before Halloween our family went to a pumpkin patch in town and we had a WONDERFUL time. Jaren could have cared less that we were at a pumpkin patch as he just LOVES to be outside more than anything else. It was s uch a great time.

I was suprised he liked the swing, but he sure did.

As well as the slide :)

Happy Girl :)

Jaren didn't quiet get the idea of the maze - he'd rather walk on the top.

Daddy and Landrie

Jaren loves loves loves to climb

The cow train was exciting for two seconds then he freaked out a bit and didn't actually ride it.

Mommy and Landrie and her beautiful eyes

Jaren couldn't get over all the old tractors sitting around - he drove EVERY one of them.

Jaren was so excited he was allowed to touch the pumpkins.

prayers/big girl

Sorry I have been absent - there are many pictures and good stories to share and I will get to them in time.

Both Mark and I's families have had events happen that have taken some of our time and given us even more of a drive to spend time as a family in the evenings and not be on the computer. I will post pics and stories soon, but for now I just ask for prayers for strength for our families.

Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Now for my baby girl. We had her four month check up appointment on Halloween morning and it went well.

She weighs 14 pounds 9 oz now (66%)
She is 24 1/2 inches long (54%)
and her head is in the 55%

Everything is checking out well. She did have a bit of an adhesion, but the doc fixed it in the office and said nothing to worry about just something to check on at 6 months. So all in all we are healthy and still one of the happiest babies I have ever met. She smiles literally ALL the time. We are so blessed. It helps to even out some of Jaren's terrible two's fits. I'll try to get one of these on video soon.

Again, thanks for prayers

St. Rose Centenial

St. Rose is the Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon (out by Cheney Lake on 21st St.) This is the church my grandparents still go to and the church my dad went to as a boy as they lived across the street and that is where their store the "Kampling General Store" was located. To celebrate the churches centenial they had a parade and a day of fun. My dad, his parents and siblings all were memebers of the parade so we went to see the parade.

This is the church

This is where the store was - it is now an eatery of some sort.

This is the house my dad grew up in and it also housed the 'old store' in a bag addition.

costumes

Jaren had fun when we got out our costume tub - he wanted to try 'everything' on. I know he will hate me for this one day. And for the record Mark was not here so he couldn't stop mommy from having so much fun :)

When we were done Jaren needed to do something manly so he went directly to playing with his big trucks!

Big girl

I promise more posts to come, just not sure when - between, keeping up with the kids, trying to clean the house and Marks classes, I'm just getting further and further behind everyday and when push comes to shove and I have a min. and I can either post on the blog or play with my kids - sorry, kids win.

Jaren is so verbal these days. While Mark and I can understand him and most others may not be able to he is talking so much better these days and just this weekend learned how much fun it is to scream. Yeah ;)

Landrie is really getting a personality and is growing every single day.

Being a mom is so rewarding and hard at the same time - I love it!!!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and Jaren had a blast, I got some great pics we will share, hopefully soon.

For the mean time these three month pics of Landrie will have to do - Compliments of Amy - she finished right before her and cheeks left to go galivant at Disney - we are jealous.
