Disney 2023

On Christmas we surprised the kids by telling them we were going to go to Disney in Jan. with Mima Cheryl and Papa Mike.

Day 1 Travel Day

We were planning to travel to Florida and just get to our Hotel and get settled on day 1.  Then... Disney announced that that same day would be the LAST day the Splash Mountain would be up and running before they remoddled it to a new theme - so if we wanted to ride it we had to go right from the airport. We were able to get a fast pass right before we got on the airplane in the morning - this picture is a screen shot showing the stand by wait times that day for the ride.

Day 2 - Epcot

We were able to score a ride on the newest ride Guardians of the Galaxy - it was CRAZY!

We had late hours for delux property guests here  - for this one ride we were literally the only 5 on the ride. (Taylin went back to the hotel with Mima and Papa)

Day 3 Animal Kingdom

We got early hours for on property and Mark and the kids rode Mount Everest 8 times in a row - I only made it 2 times

For staying at delux resort we got late hours at Magic Kindgom this night - 11-1a.m.

We got off this ride and got directly back in line for it - it was a 3 min wait at this time - SO we were VERY surprised when we got outside on the roller coaster to POURING rain.  We had no warning and were not expecting it at all.  It was a fun great memory - we rode it 2 more times in the rain.  The late hours were only for Delux resort people anyway so there were not many then the rain right at the beginning of late hours ran at least half of those people away.

This day was a park free day - we had breakfast at Chef Mickeys and then hung out around the hotel and went to Disney Springs

She MADE it.  People even cheered when the re measured her

Fila's for the win - two Disney trips in a row - this time we had to add a heel lift inside the 1 inch sole to get her on Rock n Roller Coaster but it was worth it!

First time on Tower of Terror - we only spent 1/2 a day at this park on our first trip.

as you go through the line at Rock n Roller coaster the poster update with your names as you have to scan in with your bracelets to ride the ride.

We forgot 3rd grade played their tournament the weekend before everyone else so Ryland was missing day one of his tournament and as we were taxing on the plane his team was playing and was tied with 1 min left to see if he would get to play with them the next day

They won!

This trip was AMAZING - so blessed to make these Memories with my parents as well.  Mark just couldn't stomach that they had never been to Disney and was adamat they had to have the experience. So greatful for him!
