swim lessons 2015

We did swim lessons in Andale again this year.  The kids loved getting in the water each day. 

Jaren started to pick up really swimming - still a bit to nervous if his feet can't touch, but so so so close.   Landrie on the other hand believed that if she smiled and said no thank you that she didn't have to do anything.  And for the most part that worked.  The life guards did not want to make  her put her face in till I told them to make her do it.  That is why we were there was to get her more comfortable in the water.  and she can't do that by clinging onto the wall. 

She still loves water and wants to go swimming but not if she can't touch or without a life jacket on.  And she started trying to plug her nose which I do NOT want her to do.  I wish I didn't do that and hope she can learn without. Jaren is definitely my fish of the family right now.  

I think I'm going to try Ryland in lessons next year.

We invited the team to the Andale pool to swim to end the ball season.  1/2 the team was able to make it and the boys had a great time.

Mark coached Jaren's t-ball team again this year and did a GREAT job.  

What a difference a year can make.  Jaren had an amazing year.  The highlight for me being the game where Jaren at Pitches threw for all three outs to first to his Cousin at first base.  

Almost three up three down, but they missed the third batter and got the fourth batter.  

I thank Mark for coaching as it is not easy and he does an amazing job of giving EVERY kid a chance at every position and keeping his patience - which might be the hardest  part when coaching 13 five and six year olds.

Ryland did a great job of watching ball this year overall.  He had his moments when he wanted out of the stroller, but all in all he did wonderful.  Never mind that I pumped him full of snack foods during each game to keep him happy and quiet.

Landrie loved that Hunter was on Jaren's team cause it meant she had a built in play mate in Emma Kate at each game.

Father's Day 2015

We had another GREAT Father's Day this year!!!  We had dinner (combined with Isaiah's birthday party) at Nikki's house.  Followed by our Annual Father's Day family ball game.

June 15 misc.

I'll start by saying Happy Birthday today to Jaren John.  I can't believe I have a 6 year old.

Then I will apologize for posting May 2015 videos twice.  I just noticed that I had already posted them.

June was such a busy month for us.  Getting settled, playing ball, having company.  It was a great way to start our summer!
