One day coming home from a cousins birthday party Jaren got out of the car and was walking into the house and tripped before he got to the stairs and hit his head on the bottom step and cut his head open, ensueing in our first ER trip ever. Jaren was a trooper and got his head glued shut.

Thanksgiving 2011
We had a great Thanksgiving this year with lots of fun. Here are some of our pics.
I know I'm behind, but better late than never.
Jaren sitting on the deck steps at Grandma Cheryls and Papa Mikes. Getting ready for....

Caleb Playing outside at Grandma and Grandpa's

.... We had an easter egg hunt on Thanksgiving. The kids went out to play and found Grandmas egg stash in the toy bin and had a blast with them. Sometimes I am reminded at how disfunctional we are :)

Jaren trying to get the egg in his sack.

My family playing games on Thanksgiving.

Jaren lining up his cars at Grandma and Papa Macs house. Sitting in the sun, making his momma proud :)

Oh, the aftermeal plan at Marks parents house.

Great Grandma Ginia playing with the kids

Sticker fun, with cousin Blake (Thanks to Great Aunt Debbie)

We are so Thankful for our families, for good health and great food :)

5 and 6 month pics
Here are Landrie's 5 month and 6 month chunk chart pictures.
Landrie did have her 6 month pictures taken at my mom's on Christmas Eve (her actual 6 month anniversary) and what I have seen looks AMAZING - Amy is still working her majic and I will post them at some point on here. I am trying to get caught up on the blog before Mark starts his classes again.

Andale House
Very shortly Mark and I will be putting our house on the market and moving into his grandmas house :) YEAH!!! Joking. We are doing this as a way to save up some more money for a downpayment when we build our house on the land Mark's parents have for us. We are very excited about building our house and had talked about moving into a rental for the last 6 months to a year to not have to worry about the overlapping time of selling a home and building a home. While we won't be building for approx 3 years this opportunity came up and we couldn't pass on it. Mark's parents will be making upgrades to the house as we live there to help them up the value of it for resale. All the floors will be replaced before we move in.
Notice all the beautiful lighting in the house :)
I keep reminding Mark that 3 years in his grandmas old house to me equals a walk in pantry, a big island and a double oven in my dream kitchen :) (We'll see if I really get the double oven, but the walk in pantry and big island is not an option)

6 Month check up
We went to Landries appointment and all is well.
The test results were AMAZING. All looks great and shows NO reflux. We will have to monitor for the next 6 months. If she has a fever over 100.4 for anexplained reason we will have to go have her cathed, but other than that we are great.
We did learn she is HUGE!!!
17 lbs. 65%
18% in length, but I think the measured her wrong
50% in head circ.
Healthy and Happy continues to smile ALL the time. The nurse who came to give her her shots said I don't want to she is to happy and then said that she woudln't leave the room again until she smiled and she did it right away.

Yoga Baby
Landrie's 6 month appointment is tomorrow, but I can't help but post these pictures.
First an update - her test went well on Friday although we have yet to hear the exact results of it - more to come after tomorrow's appointment.
Landrie is ready to move and rolling all over the place and just recently gotten on all fours and is even rocking. Something Jaren never did with his split abs I had to force him onto all fours.
Along the way Landrie has been playing with some yoga poses.
I can't remember what this is called, but she is in a natural pose that most 6 month olds get into.

Then she moved into a plank position, you can't see it very good from this shot, but she is there if you look close at her toes you can see it. THEN.....

She does the downward dog pose - ADORABLE

And now she is done, but still being cute :)
