Casey and Nate's B-day party
Our Friends Casey and Nate had a birthday party together and we went to have some outdoor fun. Plus Casey smoked some really good MEAT - mommy's favorite. It was so yummy and we had a great time.

My First Easter
Here is a slide show of pictures from my first Easter. We woke up, went to church, went to Grandma Cheryl's for brunch, then to Grandma and Grandpa Mac's for lunch, then to Great Grandma Ginia's for dinner. A lot of food and family - what a blessed day.

Grandpa Mike's eyes
In November of last year my dad had his eyebrows lifted as the extra skin was pushing his eyelashes down and into his vision. Here are the before and after pictures from this surgery.

Mother's Day
As you can all guess I had a WONDERFUL mother's day. Mark got me a beautiful family necklace and took me out on a date (which included a funnel cake) he got brownie points for that one :) on Sat. night.
Sunday morning we woke up, had breakfast and went to church. It was a beautiful mass and I was very grateful. I thanked god for my many blessings; Jaren, Mark, my family, Jaren's birthmom and more.
I spent the whole day with a smile on my face and thought and prayed often for Jaren's birthmom. Mother's Day for me would not have been possible without her and for that I will be forever grateful. She is a wonderful women who will hold a special place in Mark, Jaren and I's hearts, for the rest of our lives.
As for the rest of our day, we went to Jim and Phyllis' right after church to give Phyllis her present - all the kids went together and got her a new computer, well overdue. She was SHOCKED, it was perfect. We told her that the gift we got her was back ordered and she had to get on the Internet so we could show it to her. you will see pictures below of her reaction. It was GREAT!!!
Then my sister, Amy, had my whole family over for a family dinner and we had a great time. We got to see my nieces face after her brother, accidentally hit her in the face with a golf club. Don't scroll all the way through the pictures if you have a weak stomach. We had a nice time and got a new all cousin picture. I don't have a copy though as I was elected as one of the people to make faces at the kids.
It was a great day, one I will NEVER forget.

Big Boy!!!
I had my 10 month appointment today and they told me to no surprise that I am a BIG BOY. I now weight 25 pounds which puts me in the 89% for weight. I am 30 1/4 inches long which puts me in the 88% and my head, well, it is huge (quiet Aunt Beth, I can hear you laughing) My head is 48 1/4 cm. That puts me in the 97% for head circ.
Actually, that puts my head above the normal trend line so to make sure everything is growing/closing correctly I have to go back to the doctor in 6-8 weeks. They don't think anything is wrong since I am progressing normally. I babble non stop with mom and dad, I will feed myself finger foods, and I am beginning to arm crawls as the video shows. Any way they told mom and dad it was nothing to worry about just playing it safe that most of the time it is simply in the kids genes to have a big head or not to (Don't worry Kelsey it isn't all the time :) )
Overall, it was a great appointment. No immunizations, I did get checked for anemia, and found out that I am NOT anemic. (just a test they run at this time, not because they thought I might be) The nice lady said I looked healthy to her and other than wanting to check my head out in a month or two - I got a clean bill of health.

Pictures are coming
Mom said to tell everyone that she does have pictures and is dying to post them. She has sat in front of a computer all day doing homework :(
She has some fun pictures to post, 9 month pictures, Easter pictures, etc...
She has her final class and presentation this Wednesday evening. She has to give a presentation over her research with a powerpoint and present and provide a brochure. She has never made an official brochure and is NOT enjoying it. She is pretty sure the last time she made one was in high school, for her publications class.
Anyway I have asked her to please get some more pictures on here for all my fans and she said she will be doing it SOON after Wednesday is over.
