Halloween 2016

We had a great Halloween.  

We split it up again this year so we could make it everyone.  Mima Cheryl and Papa Mike were on a vacation for Halloween so we didn't get to trick or treat at their house this year, but we are glad they had a great trip.

We did figure something out about  our precious Ryland this year.  We always knew he didn't like footed PJ's never really sure why but he just didn't and that last year Halloween was a struggle too.  
He does NOT like wearing one piece anything!  I don't know if it is a claustrophobic thing or what.  He WANTED to try on all the costumes.  He would step into them and get so excited until we got it to his waist and he needed to put his arms in and then freak out.  Then we tried on a nurse scrubs outfit and he was fine as it was two pieces.  So we settled on a K-state football player which was great with us!!!

One little update on me.  

I finally decided to try the Walmart grocery pick up a try a few weeks ago.  I got everything set up for Mark to stop by Sams pick up and Walmart pick up on a Tuesday after work!!!  It was AMAZING.  He came home from work with 200 dollars worth of groceries from the two stores and it took him a combined 13 min. to get it all!!!  And we didn't have to go to town on Sunday at all!!!

I know crazy thing but I am so excited and may never grocery shop the same.  In fact mark is stopping tomorrow on his way home to pick up our second online grocery order.

We got two new mouser cats to replace the two that had disappeared and then one of the original cats showed back up.  Since then the orignal cat has again disappeared but the two new ones are still here.  They are called Willie 2 and Willie 3

I am also very sad but for some reason videos are not posting lately.  I have some really cute ones of Taylin Tess Growing up too.  I'll try to figure it out, but no promises - technology is not my strong suit.

Catching up

Hello everyone.  Since my last post my life went a little upside down and with Christmas break upon me I am trying to catch up a bit. 

On Oct. 3rd my dear friend and co-worker Sarah Probst was diagnosed with Cancer.  The news was NOT good.  Her cancer is incurable and aggressive.  Her initial diagnosis was very grim and while the news is still nothing stellar her cancer has responded to chemo which has improved her timeline.  Trying to keep spirits high and pray every single day for a miracle and for the gift of time.  Please if you have time add Sarah to your list of people to pray for.  

Last year you may remember me asking for prayers for my grandma as she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  Well, this month it finally reared its head one final time and my Mima was able to go see her husband right before Christmas.  On Wed. Dec 14th my grandmother passed away as all five of her children were praying the rosary over her.  While we all miss her desperately she is not longer in pain or uncomfortable.  She can go see Papa Bud and watch out for all of us from a much better place we all strive to reach some day.

Mini Cheer 2016

Landrie performed in the Mini Cheer Clinic again this year and loved it once again.  She was so cute out there and loved getting to cheer some with her cousin Brianna toward the end of the game.  

Oh and she also liked the bag of goodies when it was over :)

Family Day Sept 2016

For the second year in a row we have opening the NFL football season with a family day at our place.  This year we planned ahead to have a shooting break during the football watching.  We shot at some blue rock and at some targets - everyone had a great time!!!  

We also took some time to try on Halloween costumes as we do each year so all the kids can pick costumes.
