Big Boy!!!

I had my 10 month appointment today and they told me to no surprise that I am a BIG BOY. I now weight 25 pounds which puts me in the 89% for weight. I am 30 1/4 inches long which puts me in the 88% and my head, well, it is huge (quiet Aunt Beth, I can hear you laughing) My head is 48 1/4 cm. That puts me in the 97% for head circ.

Actually, that puts my head above the normal trend line so to make sure everything is growing/closing correctly I have to go back to the doctor in 6-8 weeks. They don't think anything is wrong since I am progressing normally. I babble non stop with mom and dad, I will feed myself finger foods, and I am beginning to arm crawls as the video shows. Any way they told mom and dad it was nothing to worry about just playing it safe that most of the time it is simply in the kids genes to have a big head or not to (Don't worry Kelsey it isn't all the time :) )

Overall, it was a great appointment. No immunizations, I did get checked for anemia, and found out that I am NOT anemic. (just a test they run at this time, not because they thought I might be) The nice lady said I looked healthy to her and other than wanting to check my head out in a month or two - I got a clean bill of health.

Pictures are coming

Mom said to tell everyone that she does have pictures and is dying to post them. She has sat in front of a computer all day doing homework :(

She has some fun pictures to post, 9 month pictures, Easter pictures, etc...

She has her final class and presentation this Wednesday evening. She has to give a presentation over her research with a powerpoint and present and provide a brochure. She has never made an official brochure and is NOT enjoying it. She is pretty sure the last time she made one was in high school, for her publications class.

Anyway I have asked her to please get some more pictures on here for all my fans and she said she will be doing it SOON after Wednesday is over.

I'm a cousin again!!!

My uncle Todd and aunt Rhonda had their baby today.

Teeth!!!

Well, I already have two teeth. both on the bottom and no mom will not be able to post a picture, because the only time I'll let her see them is when I am crying. If she tries to look in my mouth at any other point I just stick my tongue out over my teeth.

Mom and Dad are so proud of me though. If I knew it was going to be this big of a deal I'd have done this a long time ago :)

TOOTH

No pictures yet, mommy and daddy are CRAZY busy, and I have a nasty cold, but I have a tooth. It is my bottom center, left side. It is barley through, but it is there!!! I'm running like crazy from the nose and mouth, but mom and dad are so excited.

Mommy got back from her proposal meeting with her masters research committee tonight and ....


SHE'S APPROVED.

This means mommy can start her research NOW. She is hoping to get her pre-intervention data this school year yet, conduct the actual research this summer, write up her report/results and defend her research in Sept. She should be done before she is 30!!!

Her teachers told her today though that they want her to publish her research when she is done. She is going to have to see what this all really entails before she agrees to go forward with getting published.

Anyway, congrats mommy - I'm proud of you!!!

Just wanted to let you all know we are still here.

Mommy is busy right now. She has some really cute pictures to post, but she has to get through the next week or two first.

She has to:
* play with me
* complete her 54 page research paper this week
* complete the first half of her independent research paper
* propose her research to the research committee next Wednesday at 4:15 (wish her luck)
* play with me

She is busy and can't wait to be done. Should be by next Sept. or Oct.

She is also working with Aunt Amy to get my 9 month pictures taken. That's right folks I'll be nine months old on Sunday.
