Kelsey took the kids

So my best friend Kelsey took my three oldest kids for 4 nights at the beginning of August so Mark and I could have some quality bonding time with Taylin Tess.  It was AMAZING!!!  She is Crazy, but I am not going to complain and look forward to returning the favor when she has her next baby ;)

I can't get just my three in these at the same time so to get 5 kids I'm super impressed

So I had told Kelsey how much my kids were enjoying watching the Olympic trials with me and they had been asking if they could watch them with Kelsey.  

This day I had told Kelsey maybe the kids will sit and watch Gymnastics on Olympics with you and give you a break so she sent me this video of the kids 'relaxing' and watching TV.

(I'll just state ahead of time she is ok)

Kelsey the break was AMAZING and I am VERY grateful for the special time to bond with Taylin - I needed it myself more than I realized as well.  Thank you so much.  

July 2016 misc.

July was a crazy month not knowing when the baby would come and being excited to celebrate Jaren's 7th birthday!!!

We went swimming right before the baby joined us 

After Taylin joined us Rhonda took the older three kids one day when Mark returned to work so I could have a day with the baby and Ryland and Jude thought that was a good idea 

Jaren got bath color tablets for his birthday.  Lets just say Ryland thinks it is pretty darn AMAZING to take a BLUE bath :)

Blake and Alyssa were teaching my kiddos to make friendship bracelets.  I had flashbacks.

Big girl update :)

We had Taylin's one month appointment - it went well all good news.

She is Healthy and Happy :)

Height:  22.7 inches   96%

Weight:  11 lbs  7.5 oz   91%

Head circ:  39 cm  97%

Mommy is NOT ready to go back to work no only because she doesn't want to leave me but also because she has not left me to go work in her room and hasn't put me down in the evenings to work on school work.  But how can you blame her - look at me I'm pretty hard to put down!

Taylin's Baptism

On Sat. July 30th, 2016 Taylin Tess Ann was Baptized into Christ. 

It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful service.  Father Aaron gave a beautiful service :)

My sister in law Rhonda is Taylin's godmother and our soon to be brother in law Rod is Taylin's Godfather.

After the baptism we all came to our house for some DELICIOUS Pulled Pork that Mark made and yummy fixings that my mom and mother in law helped with as well.

When Taylin was born she was:

19.5 inches long 55%

8 pounds 12 ounces 92%

At 2 week appointment she was:

21.5 inches long 94%

9 pounds 9 ounces 91%

38 centimeter head circ.  99% (Thanks daddy)

Healthy girl, happy girl, we are so blessed!

Taylin Tess comes home

We of course were positive for Group B strep which means that you have to get an antibiotic during delivery and stay in hospital for 48 hours from delivery.  So we got to check out at 7:00 on Thursday night.

She does NOT like her arms in the swaddle.  So different - all of our other kids have loved it

We made it over to introduce Taylin to Mima Millie as well.
