Well,
I've just been waiting for Landrie to get a fever ever since our hospital stay. Sunday afternoon while we were getting ready for the super bowl, she was a bit fussy, which is not like her at all.
Then about the time for the game to start she got a fever. We gave her Tylenol and tried to pretend it wasn't happening. Then she woke up Sunday night/Monday a.m. with a 101 fever. This of course requires us to go see the doctor Monday. Any fever over 100.4 will require this for her until she is 1 year old.
Doc couldn't find any other reason she could be sick. Throat was clear, ears clear, lungs clear, etc.... While most of the time this makes mommies happy it made me a bit sad as I then knew they were going to have to cath her to make sure she didn't have a UTI. She HATED it and I hated having to help hold her down, it breaks my heart.
However, the good news is she just has a basic virus/cold and is doing great now. It breaks my heart that she had to go through that for a general cold, but better than a hospital stay I guess.
Sorry to hear this, but you are right, at least no overnights at the hospital.
