Mara Prom

I got a call from my good friend Kristy this year asking if I could help her find a Prom Dress for Mara and she was stressed that she would be alone for getting Mara ready for Prom as Daddy would be out of town with Sister at a Soccer Tournament.  

So I got to go help Mara get ready for Prom and do her hair for Prom this year.  

She looked so beautiful and I was a happy to be a part of her special day!

Care Walk 2016

We walked 38 strong for Team Tobelerone and Autism Awareness this year!!!  We had a beautiful day for the walk too.

April 16 misc

April marked 1 YEAR we have been in our new house.  Man has it been a year.

Easter 16

We had a good Easter.    It started by waking up to a WHITE Easter with a Good amount of snow coverage.  Which meant we ended up making it to mass JUST in time as we got stuck on our first attempt and had to back track and go out of the way to get to mass.

We were late visiting at Mima and Papa's house the night before Easter and borrowed PJ's from her - that is why my wonderful children are wearing:  Landrie - Christmas PJ's, Jaren a jersey and shots, Ryland a little mermaid dress - for our Easter morning pictures.

Egg hunt 16

We again went to Andale to participate in the Egg hunt at City Park.  This was our first year for the kids to be separated into different age groups.  Less pictures is what that means to me and as I was with Jaren I didn't get to see Landrie and Ryland participate.  

So much work for 60 seconds of fun.

March 16 misc

Just as wildfires were ravishing parts of midwest - Mark came around the corner after giving kids a bath (with 30 mph winds outside) and says, with WIDE eyes - the field is on fire.

We quickly called 911 and reported the fire, all the while being FOREVER greatful that the wind was blowing AWAY from our house.  Quickly there were 7 fire trucks out here to put out the blaze.  Mark must have seen it right away and it only affected a very small area and no houses or animals were affected.  Gave us some pretty good excitement though.

On Easter morning as I was curling Landries hair in the bathroom I looked out the window and saw these Turkey walking through the heavy snow we had.  Just a great view and lets me enjoy living in the country, even if sometimes is it not my cup of tea.
