New pictures

Amy of course took all the kids new pictures for me this year.  They all turned out So Amazing.

First Day of School

Jaren was Very excited this year to not wear uniforms!!!   He never complained about them when he wore them last year, so I was surprised, but he was very excited to get to wear sports clothes.

Jaren started on a Thursday and Landrie on a Friday. 

The grow so darn fast!  

Aug. 20th

Adoption Finalization Day!!!

Jaren always gets to pick where we go to eat on this day and he had a hard time this year.  We gave him three options and he kept asking me weird questions then I figured it out.

He was picking by the dessert menu.  We don't usually order a dessert at restaurants, but on this day we always do. 

But then came in the problem - he wanted the peanuts and cinn. butter from Texas Roadhouse, but is not thrilled with their dessert selection. 

Sooooo.....  Mommy had some gift cards to Orange Leaf in her purse so we went to Texas Roadhouse then to Orange Leaf.

We are SOOOOO excited because Papa Mike will be retired this time next year so he will get to join us

Aug 15 stuff :)

We had a busy GREAT August in our house.  A small break from Summer birthday's before Rylands and time to fit everything in before summer is over.  

I got away for a short girls weekend with Kelsey and some friends.  We had a GREAT time.  I did realize I don't get away enough though.  At the restaurant BOTH of my cards got shut off for suspicious activity.  What was the activity I asked the companies - "You left the Wichita area"  SAD :(

A trip to the YMCA outside pool always proves to be a bunch of fun.

 We took the kids to Sedwick county park for a nice Bike ride

Ryland of course fell at our break at the boundless playground and got a bloody nose

I went to one of my students parents weddings this summer to help out.  Doesn't he look HANDSOME!!!

Mommy fit in one more quick trip to KC to play with Kelsey Maelin and Kace!

It is always a good idea to give a kid a choc snack on a hot summer day in the car :)
