Dear Sarah,
I miss you so so so much. I can not believe it has been almost 2 years since you went to a better place. I know you are happy now, I know you are not in pain, I know you are with your grandmother, Cale, Leah and many others that went before you and have come after. Saying that gives me comfort but does not stop me from wishing desperately for one of our talks: about life, about kids, about husbands, about siblings, about work, about health, about food, about ANYTHING. Your friendship, as you put it, is one that God had in our plan from the start. You knew what I was gonna say before I said it and you knew when I needed support before any others did. I still talk to you almost daily as I know you are watching over me and my family as you promised you would the day after your diagnosis. That does not stop me from needing your hugs, your smile, your laughs and so much more. We could speak sentences in eye contact alone and completely get it. We could speak paragraphs in just one hug to each other. My children lovingly refer to you as Aunt Sarah because that is how special you are to my whole family. I love you and miss you Sarah.

I was walking with you in KC with my sister, mom and Taylin Tess. As Sarah and I had talked, family time and memories are priceless so I had to still go be with them and we walked with you in spirit from KC |
|
Kingman had a fundraiser for you too and your family put on a beautiful show for you and my babies were asked to be the wiseman :) |

Ever sense our first year together we did a letter a week in the classroom and on "Q" week we made a classroom quilt. We never knew what to do with them till our first Angel went to heaven and we donated a classroom quilt to the family. So this year the quilt was obvious where it should go and what colors to use. My mom and I worked hard to get this one done on time for you to get to see it before you passed on. |

My mother in law writes for the clarion and she wrote a beautiful article about you after you had passed |

Chris still did their annual 4th of July part (on the 3rd) and had a nice balloon release for Sarah |

Sarah's school family (and they let me come as an alumni) had a gathering with you on the first back to school inservice day. Balloons don't go up in the rain so we blanketed you in the shineys stars. |

My life skills teaching partner got everything lined out for use to have a memorial for you at Garden Plain. Complete with a heart and we all hand painted rocks for you. |

Lotta love sarah - hope you can still feel it. |

Chris designed and had made the most special headstone for you. |

Last November I walked in a 3 day 60 mile walk in San Diago for you. It was a very healing wonderful experience. One I am grateful I get to have again this coming November.
I MISS you SARAH!!! Can't wait to see you again! Whenever that may be. |
