On Sunday the 17th of July we had Landrie Baptised. It was beautiful and a day we won't soon forget. Landries Godmother is my older sister Nikki and her Godfather is Mark's younger brother Matt.

Jaren's second birthday

For Jaren's second birthday we had his grandparents and godparents come over for dinner, gifts, and ice cream cake. We had a great time and daddy made a good dinner in the scolding heat.

Big girl

Landrie is one month old today and she is getting so big. She is really filling out and growing a second chin :) I will try to post some baby pics soon, I am hoping to take pictures of my and marks baby pics and then one of Landrie so you can all see who you think she looks like. Mark and I have a definate opinion.

Jaren got a fat lip this day and didn't really know how to handle it - it was cute watching him lick his lip all day, only because he wasn't acting like it hurt.


He thought he was a big dog this night drinking water from mommy's target cup while wearing his sunglasses. We almost didn't get the glasses off before bed either.


If this weather would just pass we could play outside again, Jaren desperatly wants to play outside again. We have made it outside a few times at 7:30 for a while before it gets blistering.


Having a baby sister is exhausting.


When Landrie came home from the hospital she was wearing a hat and Jaren though he needed to have one too. Mark grabbed one of mine from the closet (yes, my hats fit Jaren's head) and he wore it all night then he thought mommy's new cup from the hospital was pretty cool. He thought he was pretty cool this night.


Jaren got a fever when Landrie was three days old and spent much of his day cuddling with daddy and drooling on him.

Check ups

Last week we went to the kiddo's 2 week appointment (Landrie) and 2 year appointment (Jaren). This is where they stand!!!

Jaren:
Weight - 31 pounds 83%
Height - 35 1/4 75%
Head Circ - 51 95% (you're surprised aren't you)

Landrie:
Weight - 8 pounds 6 oz 41%
Height - 21 1/4 75%
Head - 55%

Both kiddos are healthy and good to go. Jaren had to get one shot and handled really well. He doesn't have to get more shots till 5 years, except for the flu shots. Landrie didn't get any shots, but she gets the whole slue of them on her 2 month appointment in later August.
