More Ryland

40 weeks

We facetimed with the kids within 30 min. of Ryland being born but this was the first time they saw him in person.

She is so excited and hasn't left him alone yet.

Papa Mac checking him out.

our first offical family photo although I don't think hospital gowns should ever count in family pictures.

Jaren was not 100% sure about him at first, but we are good to go now!!!

Daddy is pretty comfy

GOING HOME!!!

Checking out his room before his brother and sister got home.

He is such a serious little man

The kids seeing Ryland at home for the first time - made it really real he was here to stay.  Mima Mac was sharing love as well

His face tells it all - He shouldn't be suprised she was hugging and kissing my stomach constantly

Such a proud big brother

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture

This is my AMAZING friend Sarah (who Jaren and Landrie refer to as Aunt Sarah) and her son Carter came to visit and bring us a YUMMY chicken noodle dinner

My parents came and brought Great Mima Millie with a delicious dinner as well.  Amy was here visiting too - Isn't family AMAZING!!!  Ryland is grandchild number 12 for my parents!!!

Mima Cheryl making sure Ryland Reece can survive a holding by Landrie Lynn

Two of Mommy's good friends from her old school came to visit and brought YUMMY YUMMY dinners as well.  Thanks Ms. Christina and Ms. Melanie

A real family photo free of hospital gowns.  Man how different three is from two.

Godmother Sarah couldn't come to the hospital as she had a cold, but made it by with a yummy dinner once we got home.

It's a BOY!!!

We checked into the hospital On Monday night for cervadil with Pitocin to start Tuesday a.m.
The cervadil started contractions within almost the hour.  Contractions lasted all night, no sleep :(  Pitocin and epidural at 8:00 Tuesday morning.  My water broke on its own while getting the epidural.  That was a new experience for me.

I was VERY suprised that I only had to push through two contractions, especially because with Landrie it took me an hour and a half.  I guess I figured something out from the first time.

Everything went WELL - Ryland scored a 9-9-9 on his Apgar scores and ate for 20 min. his very first try!!!

Daddy was AMAZING as usual during the whole ordeal - doing anything I asked and just overall being there for me.  I couldn't ask for a better husband - he is the most AMAZING MAN!!!

Mima Cheryls meeting Ryland

Aunt Amy got out from behind the camera for a wonderful open eye picture

Lets just say he didn't like his first bath.
(for all my Friends fans - Can you say "Red Ryland")

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new OB - we switched doctors so we could deliver at St. Teresa - only for St. Teresa to stop doing deliveries half way through my preganancy.  Anyway - it was a great move - Dr. Maki was amazing through my entire pregnancy and delivery - as well as recovery - she checked in on me personally every morning at the hospital.

Cheeks came by to meet his new cousin!

Ryland makes some of the funniest faces.  Overall his demeanor is very serious - so differant than either of our other children so far.

As for who he look like - it is my dad for SURE - papa mike.  I am working on getting a baby picture of him so I can post them side by side.

Mima Gina doing what she does :)
Counting to make sure there are 10 fingers and 10 toes.

MANY more pictures to come - including pictures of when Jaren and Landrie first met Ryland.

FACETIME was amazing - we were able to facetime with Jaren and Landrie (who were staying with Mima and Papa Mac) within 30 min. of delivery.

Good Bye Explorer

Some of my friends from Explorer Elementary School took me out for a girls night to say good bye to me and wish me well at my new school.  We had a Great time.  We went out to eat at On the Border than we went to Let's Paint Wichita.

It was so cute she decided to run around the tree and not around the bases

we are ready dad - hit it

The boy loves to play ball, but don't ever forget your helmet - he will let you know.

Landrie had to have a do over with the helmet

Daddy can't catch me

IF Jaren would EVER sleep past 6:00 I wouldn't get pictures like this

The girl loves, loves, loves her IPAD

Books after bath

She does have style :)

Cuddling at bed time - and a rare picture with me in it

Can anyone say Jake and the Neverland Pirates???

Helping mom indulge a craving for cookie dough.  Yes dough, I of course ate some cookies, but mostly we ate the dough.  No lectures about raw egg please because it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!

Family swim day

My mom and dad organized a family swim day on the FINAL day the Andale pool was open this year.  We had a great time.  Landrie Lynn was taking a nap through most of it so no pics of her.

Jaren loves this slide - he could go down it all day

Happy boy

He also is pretty sure that Robert is the best person in the world to catch him at the bottom!  And Robet was getting him excited about going under a bit so that was great with me.
